It’s hard to believe that we are already at the end of October! The last month and a half have been busy as we’ve been working hard to get the Snagable Store up and running. In September we set up our facebook page, Insta account and website. We worked hard to create our first designs- and it was definitely a learning curve on how to use the software and hardware we decided to work with. We had our fair share of challenges in the first month. First, our fulfillment provider stopped providing some of the size-inclusive products we were selling. Then Canada Post went on strike…the laptop Darryl ordered was nearly a month late arriving…Yikes! We made it through though.
We sent our first test order of Boodoo and Kokum hoodies to Chisasibi, and Darryl reached out to Le Feu Sacré, an Indigenous gift shop in the old port. They bought our Boodoo baby onesies on the spot! Darryl has been very active in sharing our products and you can now find Boodoo baby onesies at the McGill Hospital gift shop.
After just a month, We have sold over thirty items! We’re currently looking for opportunities to sell at holiday markets. Stay tuned!
